Oracle Introduces New SCM AI and Automation Capabilities

April 19, 2023

Oracle introduced new artificial intelligence (AI) and automation capabilities to its Oracle Fusion Cloud Application Suite April 19, aimed at helping customers improve supply chain planning, operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

The added features will provide consumers with AI-powered lead-time estimates in Oracle Supply Chain Planning, designed to identify lead-time trends and anomalies, and to minimize their potential impact on customers through resolution suggestions and prioritized actions.

Oracle also rolled out its enhanced quote-to-cash process in Oracle Fusion Applications, with the aim of helping customers centralize their usage ratings (the measure of how much product a customer consumes over a given period of time) by quoting, capturing and fulfilling orders in a more efficient manner while also recognizing revenue accordingly.

Oracle will also be launching new rebate management capabilities in Oracle Channel Revenue Management, which will automate the entire rebate management process. The company says this will improve payment accuracy, reducing administration costs and enabling customers to quickly settle their rebate claims.
